Fodor's Expert Review Delirio
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Set in a century-old family home, this sexy dining room has the look of a boudoir, decorated almost entirely in deep reds with paintings by local artists hanging on the walls. Chef and owner Alfredo Ayala's talent is widely admired—many younger chefs cite him as a source of inspiration. His menu, which changes frequently, takes the concept of Puerto Rican food to a new level, and his international training (with Joël Robuchon and others) shines through in entrées such as perfectly seared cod served over a puree of fresh corn and panko-crusted veal chop with small white beans and rice.
