Fodor's Expert Review Shanna's Cove Restaurant
This resort restaurant boasts a beautiful towering view above the sea and the north point of the island and offers three meals a day on the breezy veranda or in the cool interior. Owners Frank and Gabi, and chef Simon, take their European cuisine seriously and they please and surprise hotel guests and those from other resorts who drive far to dine here. Replete with homemade breads, cheeses, viands, and fruits (or eggs cooked-to-order) breakfast is a delight while the lunch menu features large fresh salads and homemade 12-inch pizzas. Dinner's three-course menu varies nightly and might include rack of lamb, pork tenderloin, steaks, lobster, or grilled fish. Call well in advance (or you may feel unwelcome). If you don't like what's being served just ask Frank or Gabi to cook you something else. The cocktails and coffee at the cute bar are also good.
