Siam@Siam
865 Rama I Rd., Bangkok, 10330, ThailandWhy We Like It
Young, hip, and fun, Siam@Siam is a millennial’s hotspot in a near perfect part of town. Inside, guests will find great dining and drinking options, a fun pool, and decent gym. While it’s a little on the pricey side, you’re paying for the location, which has easy access to bars, restaurants, shopping, and attractions.
Fodor's Expert Review
This boutique hotel truly lives up to its name as is immediately evident upon entering the hotel with a wide variety of large art pieces on display in the lobby. Everywhere you look, clashes of color create sensory overload for the all-too-hip and young clientele that typically stays here. Beyond the style, the hotel is a slightly too-high priced abode that includes a fun pool, stunning rooftop bar and restaurant, and a decent gym. Ideally located, the hotel is perfectly placed for access to restaurants, bars, shopping, and attractions.

Room
Smallish orange-hued rooms come with hardwood floors, large paintings on the wall, mod furnishings, and little design touches throughout. Views from the upper floors are incredible and amenities include complimentary water and slippers!
Tip If you’re with a family or group of friends, there are Youth Class rooms that come with three beds.
Bathroom
Standard bathrooms have marble floors and tiled shower/tub combos. Raised sinks sit atop black marble counters.
Lobby
As soon as you enter the hotel, you’re met by giant art installations on the walls and ceiling. The feeling on the ground floor is part Moroccan bazaar with mismatched rugs and lounge furniture mixed with Jackson Pollack-like color schemes hitting you from all angles.
Pool
The infinity pool has beautiful overhanging views of the National Stadium and seems slightly dangerous for small children at the edges.
Tip The pool bar has a happy hour special that runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Gym
Open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., the gym has hardwood floors, sports playing on wall-mounted flat-screens, and a variety of weight and cardio machines.
Dining
There are a few different dining areas of the hotel. La Vue serves French cuisine for dinner and has stunning floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the city. PH1 is the ground floor restaurant for all-day dining on international cuisine. Then there’s SkyDine at The Roof Gastro--which is the rooftop restaurant featuring insane views to go along with brightly lit art installations.
Drinking
There’s a happy hour at both the pool bar and at PH1. But for the best drinking experience, head up to the roof and soak in the sunset at their Champagne and Wine Bar.

Getting Around
The National Stadium BTS Skytrain station is only a few minutes away, and since it’s (currently) the end of the BTS line, all trains head east to the rest of the city. The area is also really walkable and you’re only a few minutes from major attractions, some of the best shopping in the city, as well as great restaurants and bars.
Restaurants
Don’t laugh, because the Hard Rock Café (10-minute walk) in Bangkok is where you come when you want a perfect American burger and fries (slightly overpriced). A very underrated dining option is the café at the Jim Thompson House (5-minute walk). Here you can get both Thai and western food while looking out over lush gardens.
