Mendoza City

The high peaks of the Andes provide a natural playground, with slopes to ski down in winter, mountains to climb up in summer, and miles of trails to hike, bike, or ride on horseback. Rivers roar out of the mountains in spring, inviting rafters and kayakers to test the water. Some of the wildest and most remote mountain areas are made accessible by the Ruta Nacional 7, which crosses the Andes right by Parque Provincial Aconcagua.
