Detour: A Good Combo

A trip to Woodland Park Zoo (on the border of Phinney Ridge and Green Lake), a stroll around (or boat ride on) adjacent Green Lake, and then exploring Wallingford's main drag (45th Avenue NW) is a great way to spend a sunny day. Or, instead of Wallingford, you could drive to Ballard and peruse its many shops and restaurants.
