Before you visit, check the store's in-store events calendar—there's a good chance you'll catch some great music while browsing the vinyl crates.

Serious Jack White fans won't want to miss his lauded label's Nashville outpost. Drop by to record your own two-minute song on a 1945 Voice-o-Graph machine, dig through the stacks, or grab some exclusive merch. Check their social media and special events pages if you're looking to catch a live performance in the now-legendary Blue Room or attend one of their intermittent film screenings. Tours are available on Fridays and Saturdays at 2 pm, but get there early.

When Grand Ole Opry star Ernest Tubb had trouble buying and selling country music records, he took matters into his own hands by opening up his own record store in 1947 on Broadway. It still stands today, with its legendary spinning sign serving as a Nashville landmark, and sells records, CDs, country music memorabilia, and more.
