Draper James

Follow the bright blue bags swinging from the arms of seemingly every other woman on 12th Street to find Nashville native Reese Witherspoon’s charming flagship store for her line of stylish, feminine clothing, pretty home accents, and gifts. Once you step under the blue-and-white-striped awning and into the Southern fantasy, you’ll be greeted by friendly sales associates who, at least in warm months, will offer you (very) sweet iced tea in a pretty blue paper cup.

Halcyon Bike Shop

This shop not only sells and repairs bikes, it also rents City Bikes and tandem bikes. Cycling accessories are sold here, as are locally made music, art, and home goods.

HERO

This is one of three Nashville-area boutiques (each has a different name) owned by Claudia Robertson Fowler, stylist to country music stars such as Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, and Miranda Lambert. The items here have a certain rock-star flair: flowing frocks, fuzzy fur jackets in bright hues, and sparkly tops. The store also stocks hats by Nashville hat makers such as Claire West.

Judith Bright

Selling stylish and delicate handmade pieces combining metal with beads, gemstones, or birthstones, a crew of artisans work on-site in this light aqua cottage, so stones or other elements can be changed on the spot. Some of Judith Bright's creations have been featured in movies and TV shows.

MODA Boutique

One of several 12 South shops. MODA is housed in a converted cottage. This small shop offers designer clothes ranging from casual to edgy. Jeans and denim jackets, novelty T-shirts, small gift items, and a jewelry selection that includes pieces made by local designers can all be found here.

Serendipity

Behind the red front door of this corner shop you'll find lots and lots of gifts for everyone. Travel games, novelty items, little books, and locally made candles with scents such as "Nashville" (whiskey and leather) abound. The store stocks women's clothing and accessories and has quite a collection of children's books, games, and more.
