Top Mast Resort

217 Rte. 6A, North Truro, Massachusetts 02652, USA

Why We Like It

With its own private beach, a wealth of fun amenities, including an indoor pool, a large outdoor sun deck, ping pong and corn hole, and a variety of family-friendly accommodations, the Top Mast Resort has a lot going for it. While it’s certainly not a luxury property, it is an ideal place to enjoy a classic beach vacation. In addition, as a two-generation family-owned and operated business, service is personal and warm.

Fodor's Expert Review

This large North Truro beach motel complex has been family-owned and -operated since the 1970s, and the staff's warm and sincere attention has much to do with that distinction. A restaurant serves traditional American fare, and there's a pool, tennis court, playground, gym, and a whirlpool tub. Most rooms are on the beach and have semiprivate decks, but there are some significantly cheaper units in a building across the road. Two cottages, a beach house and three shore houses are available on a weekly basis.

Tip Any guest who rented any accommodation type the previous year for a week gets first dibs on that same accommodation type and corresponding week the following season. The resort holds those weeks until January 31st.
