Dining options in Mesa Verde are limited inside the park, but comparatively plentiful and varied if you're staying in Cortez or Durango. In surrounding communities, Southwestern restaurants and steak houses are common options.

This full-service cafeteria offers great views, but it's nothing fancy. Grab a simple coffee here or head across the dining room to Mesa Mocha for a latte. Order an omelet cooked to order, or if you're in a hurry to hit the park trails, you can grab a to-go lunch. Dinner options include basic pizza, salads, and bowls. Only breakfast is served during slower months.
Located in the Morefield Campground, this simple restaurant in a covered outdoor terrace with picnic tables serves a hearty all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast with sausage every morning. Coffee and beverages are also available. It also offers lunch and dinner.
The park's rugged terrain contrasts with this relaxing space just off the lobby of the Far View Lodge. The well-regarded dining room is upscale, but the atmosphere remains casual. A wall of windows affords wonderful Mesa Verde vistas. The menu varies from cedar-brined pork chop to Korean barbecue New York strip steak, which you can enjoy with an array of local wines (try Cortez's own Guy Drew).

This small cafeteria has a limited selection of hot food, coffee, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. The patio is pleasant, and it's conveniently located across the street from the Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum.
There's little on offer here, just chips, soft drinks, and concessions served on picnic tables under an awning, but it's the only choice on Wetherill Mesa.
