This modern spire, located right on the 16th Street Mall, is minutes from Union Station, Larimer Square, and historic LoDo. Anchoring the Tabor Center—a mixed-use facility with shops, restaurants, office space— the property is adjacent to a park, which hosts an ice skating rink in winter, and the historic Daniels & Fisher clock tower, once the tallest structure west of the Mississippi. Hotel guests also receive discounts when buying tickets for shows at the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
You Should Know Dogs weighing 40 lbs. or less (not including service animals) are welcomed at no extra charge. Pups are provided a dog bed, food and water bowl, and a special bag containing other doggie delights.

Room
Rooms begin at 420 sq. ft. and feature a muted color scheme, a large workspace, 24-hour room service, Wi-Fi, and windows overlooking all sides of downtown and the mountains to west. Some rooms have a private deck. Others are WestinWORKOUT® rooms, which boast either an in-room treadmill or stationary bike.
Tip For better views, book a Business Class room. These rooms are on higher floors and also include $20 in dining credits, plus upgraded high-speed internet.
Bathroom
The color scheme continues into the bathroom, where soft tones, wooden vanities with marble tops, lighted mirrors, and Westin White Tea Bath & Body products await. Suite bathrooms are decked out in marble and tile with long vanities and massive mirrors.
Lobby
The lobby is mellow, with a subdued color palette and a spa-like feel, emanating from materials like a sandstone waterfall and polished wood welcome desk. The are several seating areas to invite conversation, relaxing, or reading.
Pool
The outdoor pool is heated and open year round. The surrounding sundeck offers sublime views of the mountains and surrounding area. There’s even a Pool Bar that’s open Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Gym
The hotel’s fitness center has equipment for yoga, weights, strength training, and cardio machines. Denver’s most impressive athletic club, the 40,000-square foot Colorado Athletic Club, is in the adjoining Tabor Center and can be accessed for a fee. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast daily at Augusta Restaurant. For lunch and dinner options, visit The Palm, a steakhouse and bar with tufted leather benches and wild walls covered in celebrity caricatures and cool murals highlighting Denver landmarks. Ingredients Coffee Kiosk is a café and takeaway spot for coffee, tea, bottled beverages, and snacks, as well as gum, mints, magazines and other handy items.
Drinking
The hotel bar, V’s Lounge, is a decently sized space with a granite bar top, community high top table, and a full drink, beer, and wine menu. The bar at the Palm offers PrimeTime (happy hour) from 5 to 7 p.m. every day but Saturday.

Getting Around
The free shuttle on the 16th Street Mall stops right outside the door at 16th & Lawrence, where it’s a five-block ride or walk to Union Station (bus, train, and Amtrak service). Pedicabs, taxi, ride-share, and short-term car rental (eGo, Car2Go, ZipCar, etc.) are plentiful or you can rent a bike at the Bcycle station around the corner at 17th & Larimer.
Restaurants
Enjoy wood-fired pizza and house-cured meats and cheeses at Osteria Marco (5-minute walk) in Larimer Square. Though people love the margaritas at Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant (6-minute walk), AKA The Rio, walk across the street for some of Denver’s best Mexican food and crazy flavorful salsa at D’Corazon Mexican Restaurant (6-minute walk). For ingenious Asian fusion, go to ChoLon (5-minute walk)—and definitely order the French onion soup dumplings.
