Although it's in a 1919 building designated a National Historic Landmark, the Mount View skews modern, with a cheery lobby and a boutique, slightly Euro feel. The three cottages have private redwood decks and whirlpool tubs; these and the ten Luxury Suites are more spacious than the other accommodations. A full-service spa provides pampering. The hotel's location on Calistoga's main drag and two restaurants flanking the lobby mean you won't need to go far if your spa treatment leaves you too indolent to drive.
