Blow Me Down Cross-country Ski Club. This place is as warm and welcoming as a cold weather sport club can be. Show up with any skill level and the regulars here will help you find the right trails for you. Skis and snowshoes available to rent for reasonable prices. If you make it to the very top of the mountain on a weekend, you may be rewarded with a full hot breakfast cooked by volunteers over a woodstove in a cozy hut for just a few dollars, and drop of hot chocolate, too, before you head out into the soft, silent forest and trails. Crystal Waters Boat Tours. From May to early October, Crystal Waters conducts Bay of Islands cruises (C$40) at 10 am, 2 pm, and 6 pm, depending on demand. Marble Mountain Ski Resort. Here you'll find the best skiing and snowboarding in the province. With the piles of snow on the west coast every winter, this is your best bet for winter fun anywhere on the island. In the summer, zip-lining and other seasonal events are available.
