A prime address, some chic stylings, and staff who are really trying to make your stay special all combine to mean that Hotel Moments is a reliable choice in this buzzing part of the city.
Fodor's Expert Review
A chic medium-sized hotel in a smashing location, on the World Heritage site of Andrássy út itself, close to St Stephen's Basilica, the State Opera House and the generally fascinating architecture, shopping and history of the street. The building is historic and attractive, and guest rooms are comfortable, plus service comes from a team who are really putting in the miles to help guests enjoy their stay.
Tip Despite the location, rooms are quiet, and staff can recommend the absolutely silent ones to stay in for sensitive guests.

Room
Rooms are not overly large, but they have personality, with luxurious velvet fabrics, gold curtains and patterned bedheads, as well as parquet or black and white tiled floors. The string curtains are cozy.
You Should Know It's a shame the standard rooms do not have coffee making facilities, although you can get tea, coffee and mineral water downstairs in the Lounge Bar 24-7.
Bathroom
Bathrooms, too, have a bit more personality than the norm, with patterned glass doors, plants, and either walk-in showers or baths. All are scrupulously clean.
Lobby
The hotel lobby is light-filled, with a central atrium in chic white with pared back beige seats and a grand piano. There's a daily news in English dotted around the tables, which is cute.
Gym
The small hotel gym includes a sauna, too.
Dining
The hotel's 'Bistro Fine' restaurant dishes up a tasty buffet breakfast in stylish, modern environs, with orange chairs and black and white patterned floors. It's also open to the public for lunch and dinner, serving Hungarian and international cuisine. The streetside terrace right on Andrássy út is splendid.
Drinking
The restaurant doubles as the bar, and thanks to its location on one of Budapest's prime streets, is usually a buzzing place to grab a drink and people-watch.
What's Nearby
Getting Around
The hotel basks in its stately address, and is walking distance from all of Pest's sights. On the other side of the river, Buda is only about 20 minutes away on foot, or the hotel is also close to a metro stop.
Restaurants
Quirky, tasty Hungarian bistro Menza (7-minute walk) is not far away. Or feline fans shouldn't miss Budapest's version of the Cat Cafe (1-minute walk) - there are plenty of cats but the coffee is good too, with some nice cat-themed cakes.
