Bazeos Tower

This 17th-century stonework tower, considered one of Naxos's most beautiful Venetian-era monuments, dominates the landscape as you approach the center of the island by car heading from Naxos Town. A small American arts college, the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts hosts readings, concerts, lectures, and exhibitions in its splendidly restored neoclassical mansion.
