The Beaujolais region has hundreds of village wine caves (cellars). Opt for those with signs reading "Dégustation, vente en direct" (sold directly from the property) or "Vente au détail" (sold by the bottle). Also look for the town's co-op caveau, where you can pay a few euros to taste all the wine you want. À votre santé (to your health).
