Arguably the hippest bar in Hoi An, with the best cocktail menu (try the cucumber cilantro mojito), the Q Bar on Nguyen Thai Hoc is all ambient lighting and metropolitan glamour, in one of Hoi An's most beautifully restored wooden pillared trader houses. Generous happy hours (11 am–7 pm) are a nice time to take a seat on the terrace and relax with soothing jazz, or to watch the black-and-white movies projected onto the shutters of the shop opposite. There's an excellent tapas menu with limited options but generous portions.
