Tucked away in one of Central's commercial buildings, Sushi U is one of the best Japanese joints in the area. The interior is simple—bathed in natural wood tones reminiscent of traditional sushi bars in Japan. Grab a seat at the sushi bar for the best experience. If you (and your wallet) are up for it, go for the omakase (chef's recommendation), which will have the freshest jet-flown items on your plate. Otherwise, the many set-menu and à la carte items are also satisfying. The sake list is also extensive. Ask for their recommendations if you want a good sake to go with your food.
