Entry Requirements

Australian, British, Canadian, New Zealand, and United States citizens who fly to Venezuela are issued 90-day tourist cards, free of charge, immediately upon arrival with presentation of a passport that has at least six months' remaining validity. Keep the flimsy second copy of the tourist card you receive when you arrive; you'll need it to leave the country. Procure a visa in advance from a Venezuelan embassy abroad if you plan to arrive overland. Most land immigration posts charge $3 to $5 for a tourist card.
