Passports and Visas

Visitors from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand require only a passport, valid for six months from date of travel, and a return ticket to be issued a visa on arrival for up to 183 days at their point of entry into Peru. Generally, your visa will be valid for a shorter period—one that coincides with your flight out of the country—unless you ask for more time. Even then, your visa's duration is at the discretion of the immigration officer.
