This tastefully restored historic building on Barranco's busy Avenida Grau holds one of the city's nicer cebicherías (lunch restaurants specializing in seafood). Its spacious main dining room is the kind of clean, well-lighted place that would've pleased Hemingway, whose photo hangs on the wall, posing next to a massive marlin. The menu includes such popular appetizers as cebiche (fish marinated in lime juice with onions and a touch of chili) and causa (mashed potato cake with a seafood and avocado filling). If you prefer a hot meal, try the shrimp-and-asapragus risotto, salmon-and-ricotta ravioli, or a sudado (fish fillet stewed in a spicy broth).
