Lima for Cruise Ship Travelers
- El Centro. Lima’s historic center is a 30-minute drive from the dock and offers an array of colonial churches and other monuments, plus several good restaurants.
- Pueblo Libre. About 40 minutes from the dock, Pueblo Libre holds Lima’s two best archaeological museums, which can easily be combined with exploration of El Centro.
- Miraflores. Though it takes about an hour to reach, this middle-class neighborhood has some of the city’s best restaurants, shopping, and a lovely series of parks with ocean views.
- Barranco. Just beyond Miraflores is this charming historic neighborhood, with good dining and shopping options.
