Fodor's Expert Review Click Clack Hotel

Carrera 11, No. 93--77, Bogotá, Bogota D.C., Colombia Fodor's Choice

An edgy design and playfully artistic ambience puts Click Clack at the head of the urban boutique-hotel pack. Impressive even from a distance, the 11-story building is wrapped in mesh depicting a street map of Bogotá, but it's the smaller details that close the deal. Sleek-lined furnishings are softened by quality room art, the dark-tiled rain shower is pure luxury, and the minibar is stocked with an interesting selection of local goods, which are included in the room price. Some rooms look onto a multiple-story vertical garden, while others have a small terrace or floor-to-ceiling windows that offer expansive city views, but all avoid feeling cramped. The top-floor bar, Apache, draws a good crowd and serves up quality burgers and drinks. 100 Gramos restaurant, occupying the lower ground floor, is the hotel’s most impressively designed space and has an excellent, modern menu of tapas-inspired dishes.
