Fodor's Expert Review Bogotá Bed and Breakfast Inn

Calle 34 No. 17–01, Bogotá, Bogota D.C., 11001, Colombia Fodor's Choice

It takes just moments for this 1900s manor to feel like home, and for owners Beatriz and Rick to feel like family. Beautifully restored over the span of two years, the mansion has been completely renovated to levels seen in top luxury hotels. Double-paned room windows eliminate traffic noise; heavy, sound-insulating wooden doors were hand-carved; and the hydromassage showers are piping hot. Room design is simple, but each room is unique and furnished with locally collected antiques. The made-to-order breakfasts are superb, with tasty local flavors and Rick’s signature French toast. It is, however, the hosts' openhearted willingness to help with any details of your trip, be it restaurant recommendations or assistance with onward travel, that sets this apart as one of the best places to stay in Bogotá.
