Fodor's Expert Review Pasta e Vino Ristorante
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
One of the hippest spots on fashionable Cerro Concepción, Pasta e Vino is usually packed, and the hosts look like they have escaped from a fashion magazine. The sophisticated and imaginative Italian food is just as attractive. Try the gnocchi made from beetroot, chestnuts, or aubergine, or ravioli stuffed with salmon in curry sauce. The wine list, focusing on local vintages, is impressive. The hip young staff in floor-length black aprons couldn't be more accommodating. Located in a former family mansion, now painted golden yellow, at the end of the entertaining and graffiti-covered Pasaje Galvez, it shares the space with the Hotel Gervasoni by the Paseo Gervasoni.
