Artesanías de Chile, a foundation created by the wife of ex-President of the Republic Ricardo Lagos, is one of the best places to buy local crafts. The work is top quality, and you know that the artisans are getting a fair price. The foundation also has shops in the Pueblito Los Dominicos and in the Centro Cultural Palacio de La Moneda.
