Getting Here and Around

You'd need at least 20 days to visit all of the South's main attractions, but if you have only about a week, fly to Florianópolis and make it your hub to the South. From there visit the attractions in Ilha de Santa Catarina and choose one of the beaches up or down the coast. You can get a rental car or take regular bus lines. One side trip you shouldn't miss is to Foz do Iguaçu, on the Argentina border. Either join an organized (three-day) bus tour or fly on your own to the falls.
