When to Go

The area around São Paulo is lovely year-round. Most places have a steady stream of visitors, so it’s always wise to book hotels well in advance. Summers are hot and humid, and it’s the rainy season, so it’s good to have some indoor plans in the back of your mind. In winter, temperatures drop into the 40s°F (5°C–10°C), so be sure to bring some warm clothing.
