Fodor's Expert Review Hotel Rosario Del Lago Titicaca
Cl. Rigoberto Paredes and Av. Costanera, Copacabana, La Paz, Bolivia Fodor's Choice
One of the nicest accommodations in Copacabana, this colonial-style hotel is a few blocks from the main plaza. Each of its clean, homey rooms—including a spacious suite that sleeps six—has excellent views of the shore and a singular design featuring traditional art. Modern rooms have wood floors, balconies, flat-screen TVs, and glass-walled bathrooms that look onto the water. Restaurant Kota Kahuana ("View of the Lake") specializes (like every eatery in town) in trout caught in Lake Titicaca, as well as international fare. The small on-site museum, Taypi, is worth a visit.
