With 15 courses on the nightly set menu and a dinner tab that approaches $100/person, this is not your ordinary dining experience—and about the last place you'd expect to find in the historically sleepy Salt Lake dinng scene. But chef Bowman Brown has taken the reins at this upscale favorite, and if crowds are any indicator, Forage's run as the city's most priceless dinner won't end soon. It takes a sophisticated palate to appreciate Forage, where the constantly evolving menu will span from "arugula & juniper" to "lamb with preserved roots." The dining room is as classy and sophisticated as the presentation on some of the bite-size dishes. Prepare to splurge, and don't expect to cheat the restaurant's recommendation that you allot at least 2½ hours for your dining experience.
