San Antonio

There's plenty for the sports lover in San Antonio. If you like to get outdoors, the city has several fantastic parks and natural areas within its borders, and many others are just beyond the city limits. There are also a number of great golf courses in and around San Antonio. If you'd rather watch a game, the San Diego Padre's AA affiliate, the San Antonio Missions, play America's pasttime in "the Wolf" (Nelson Wolff Municipal Stadium), the jewel of the Texas League. The city is also home to an AHL hockey team, the San Antonio Rampage.

The hottest ticket in town, though, is definitely the NBA's San Antonio Spurs, who have won a total of five NBA championships.
