Jurassic World Exhibit Comes to Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute

Finally, a chance to get the full Jurassic Park experience without running the risk of being chased by a herd of velociraptors or a bare-chested Jeff Goldblum.“Jurassic World: The Exhibition” will premiere at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. The blockbuster-inspired exhibit will merge the science-fiction of the Jurassic World with real life science. The exhibit will include life-size animatronics from the team behind “Walking With Dinosaurs” and is advised by Jack Horner, the paleontologist who served on Jurassic World. The dinosaurs will be featured in “environments inspired by ‘Jurassic World.’” But any would-be eccentric entrepreneurs won’t find much in the way of tips to jumpstart a morally-questionable theme park. The exhibit will be more on the real life science behind dinosaurs, featuring authentic fossils and plenty of “paleontological specimens.”
