Dining at a shaded table on the Spouter's deck overlooking Beaufort Harbor and Taylor's Creek is one of life's treats; as boats glide by you may see a wild horse or two on Carrot Island just across the way. At dinner prime rib and bourbon barbecue ribs are popular alternatives to local seafood faves such as crab cakes or grilled local fish. An on-site bakery produces all manner of confections, including a rich carrot cake. There's indoor seating as well.
