Bus Travel

GoRaleigh is Raleigh's public transport system, Chapel Hill Transit serves Chapel Hill and Carrboro, and GoDurham is Durham's intracity bus system. The fares are $1.25 for Raleigh and $1 for Durham. Chapel Hill Transit is free. Downtown Raleigh also has a free circulator bus route called the R-LINE.

GoTriangle, which links downtown Raleigh with Cary, Research Triangle Park, Durham, Chapel Hill, and the airport, runs weekdays except major holidays. Rates start at $2.25.
