In what was once a wood-floored skating rink in the South Slope district, this sprawling eatery serves traditional whole-hog, slow-pit barbecue in the eastern North Carolina style, infused with vinegar-based sauce. The pulled pork is king here, but don't overlook the BBQ hash poutine with pimento cheese or the mussels with bacon and roasted lemon.
