Fodor's Expert Review Pascale Wine Bar & Restaurant
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Many of the contemporary dishes here, including the mixed grills, are prepared in the wood-fired oven. Combos might include antelope (the antelope Wellington is a signature dish), quail, duck, or venison, and come with black-currant or huckleberry sauce. The menu, tuned to the weather, changes seasonally. Breads and desserts come from Pascale Bakehouse, a nearby sister operation. A 12-page wine list includes hundreds of wines from France, California, Australia, and South America; many are available by the glass. Local artists created most of the stained-glass panels, paintings, and sculptures you see here.
