East Aurora

East Aurora has earned the nickname Toy Town, U.S.A. because of the many toy companies that have been based in this tiny town over the years. It remains the headquarters of Fisher-Price, which is connected to a unique toy museum. East Aurora is also the locale of two National Historic Landmarks—the honeymoon cottage of President Millard Fillmore and his wife, Abigail, and the Roycroft Campus, an Arts and Crafts movement community founded in 1895 by writer, publisher, and craftsman Elbert Hubbard. Visit the Roycroft Inn to see the murals painted by Barbizon artist Alex Fournier and for the original examples of Roycroft Mission-style furniture.
