The epitome of an old-school Italian butcher and specialty shop, Esposito's has been serving the area once known as South Brooklyn for 100 years. Brothers and co-owners John and George Esposito run the store their grandfather opened in 1922 and are still producing homemade sausages, dry-aged soppressata, and hero sandwiches made on Caputo's bread. Order an Italian Combo with the works or the Kim's Walker's Delight—stuffed with fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, and their own Esposito sausage—and then grab a seat in neighboring Carroll Park to chow down.
