Why We Like It

In a city of small hotel rooms, the sheer space of the rooms here is a breath of fresh air. We love the indoor pool with a Carnegie Hall soundtrack, the spa treatment rooms with terraces, and the bathrooms with big soaking tubs. Memorable extras include the striking contemporary art collection and thoughtful freebies like complimentary shoeshine.

Fodor's Expert Review

Occupying the first 25 floors of a towering Midtown Manhattan skyscraper, this luxury property is the flagship of the global Park Hyatt brand. The feel is high-end sophistication, evident in everything from the handsome décor to the contemporary art collection to the top-notch service--only thing is, it's super expensive.

You Should Know Views from the rooms are a bit disappointing, but there are nice vistas of the city and Central Park from the fitness center, pool, and spa (which has treatment rooms with outdoor terraces).
