Why We Like It

The current owners of Santa Fe Sage Inn & Suites took what had been a serviceable and nondescript budget motel and have steadily upgraded it and added great amenities, including a very good little restaurant and bar, over the years. Now it's one of the best values among Downtown hotels, and it's also an easy walk from the hip and up-and-coming Railyard District.

Fodor's Expert Review

On the southern edge of the Railyard District, this smartly renovated motel offers affordable comfort and surprisingly attractive (given the low rates) Southwestern decor within walking distance of the Plaza (an attractive 15-minute walk), although you can also get back and forth easily using the hotel's complimentary Downtown shuttle service. Continental breakfast is included, and the business center and exercise room are open 24 hours.
