Fodor's Expert Review Leaming's Run Gardens
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Stroll on a winding path through all 25 themed gardens of annual flowers, which are started from seeds. In August, hummingbirds are frequent visitors. A small museum depicts life in the 1700s (when the Leaming family lived here) and there's a farm with goats, sheep, and chickens. The skittish beware: on the last two weekend nights of October, the property transforms into Screamings Run and hosts haunted Hallween walks.
