Cab Travel

Cabs are popular in downtown areas and more sparse elsewhere in the Cities. You can hail a cab after major sporting, theater, and music events or head toward one of the many downtown hotels that have cab stands. Always be prepared to call one just in case. Reliable companies include Yellow Cab (612/824–4000) and Red & White Taxi (612/871–1600). Cabs have a minimum of $5 per ride.
