This gray-shingled, low-key yet refined inn—originally built as sea captain John Bradley's residence—has comfortable, tastefully decorated guest rooms painted in soothing colors. Several have fireplaces; those on the third floor have ocean views. A carriage house also has rooms, and there's a small garden cottage as well. On-site amenities include a spa (book appointments well before arrival), a pub, and one of the region’s best dining rooms, with a creative menu that emphasizes fresh, local foods.
