Booty’s, brainchild of owners Kevin Farrell and Nick Vivion, made its debut in the burgeoning Bywater neighborhood in 2012, serving craft cocktails and street food inspired by Nick’s adventures as a travel journalist. It has become one of the most popular restaurants in the city, with creative global eats like ceviche, fish n’ chips, and Acras St. Martinique (shrimp, coconut, scallions and orange fritters, in a jalapeno-honey sauce.) Cocktails get even more creative with locally-made spirits spruced up by uber-inventive bartenders artfully plying their trade. Pros: tasty fare, trendy location, friendly service. Cons: the space is a bit small so probably not ideal for romantic outings or gatherings with large groups.
