Hollywood Studios Kids Tour

Young children always get a kick out of Hollywood Boulevard's wacky street performers and the park's energetic stage shows.

The minute you enter, head straight to Toy Story Mania! and get in line (unless you made a Fastpass+ reservation). Everyone loves this busy ride—even young children who have to learn how to operate their spring-action shooters to rack up midway points. If you can ride and come back for your Fastpass+ reservation, you'll be your kids' hero. Then head deeper into Toy Story Land for Alien Swirling Saucers or Slinky Dog Dash for the brave at heart.

Combine lunch with more playtime at the Disney Junior Play ’n Dine at Hollywood & Vine family buffet, where characters from Disney Junior Dance Party! mix and mingle with the children. Don't forget your camera and the kids' autograph books!

See the Characters Come to Life

Shows and attractions based on Disney films and TV series really grab young children. Check your Times Guide for performances of Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage and Disney Junior Dance Party! After tots and preschoolers have danced along at the Disney Junior show, they can meet the characters in the Animation Courtyard, then catch a Beauty and the Beast performance or watch Ariel "under the sea" in Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

Check other character greeting locations and times—the Green Army Men from Toy Story put the kids through their marching paces on Pixar Place, Mickey and Minnie Mouse can be found along Commissary Lane, and The Incredibles pose for photos at the end of Pixar Place. Make time to catch Lightning McQueen at Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy. Then watch Kermit display his wry wit and Miss Piggy steal the show at Muppet*Vision 3-D. It's not easy being green. . . .

Grab the Spotlight

Jedi wannabes can suit up to clash with the dark side at Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, which is scheduled throughout the day. As soon as you enter, head toward 50's Prime Time so children ages 4–12 can sign up early in the day for a chance to grab a lightsaber and let the Force be with them. During each 20-minute show, crowds gather and cheer the kids as they learn to "cut to the left shoulder, step back, and duck!" when clashing with a costumed Darth Vader. Needless to say, the dark side can't compete.
