With walls adorned by avant-garde contemporary art, this family-run bistro is where the Palm Beach old guard likes to let down its hair, all the while partaking of sumptuous northern French cuisine along with an impressive wine selection. Forget calorie or cholesterol concerns, and indulge in scrambled eggs with caviar or house-made foie gras, or the best-selling Dover sole. Duck lovers rave about the braised half duck with a thyme-honey glaze. Desserts like frozen hazelnut soufflé or profiteroles au chocolat are equally impressive. Jackets are not required, although many men wear them. The main entrance is through a courtyard in the back.
