The closest hotel to Google’s campus feels more like Palm Springs than Silicon Valley. There’s a central courtyard with palm trees, a pool, and a Jacuzzi. Elsewhere, there’s a sauna, steam room, and 24-hour fitness center including Peloton bikes. Still, it’s no surprise that the hotel has an app that allows guests to adjust preferences like lighting and temperatures in their rooms. All beds (including those in guest rooms with two beds) are king beds with very comfortable mattresses and 100% Egyptian cotton linens. Besides its location, the biggest draws for the hotel are the Emerald Hour craft cocktail bar, Broma restaurant (Spanish cuisine), and an ambitious tasting menu restaurant set to open in the second half of 2023.
