Fodor's Expert Review Civico by the Park

Dario and Pietro Gallo, the Italian brothers behind the Civico restaurants in Little Italy, have taken their concept into Banker's Hill, bringing with them authentic Italian dishes from the Calabria region of Southern Italy. The menu offers traditional and vegan options, as well as introducing a scratch pizza program in two distinct styles: Pinsa Romana (a healthier style of pizza derived from Ancient Rome) and Calabrian. The restaurant is beautifully done with notes of velvet and marble, and a towering bar standing as the central focus of the space showcases one of the city's largest collections of Amaro and Grappa.
