Fodor's Expert Review Huntington, Hopkins & Co. Hardware Store

Sacramento Museum/Gallery

Picks, shovels, and other paraphernalia used by gold-rush miners are on display at this re-creation of a 19th-century hardware store that also displays tools and accessories for households, farms, and machine shops. Though it's named for two of the Big Four railroad barons, their store was far more elaborate.
