Room

The 46 rooms and 12 suites are decorated in calming blue tones, with accents of white, wood, and tile. All include high-quality linens, sound systems, in-room safes and mini refrigerators. Rooms in The Springs collection are closer to the spa and restaurant space and The Desert rooms are in a more secluded area of the property. The Casablancas are one-bedroom suites, while the Capone Suite is a 1,200-square-foot, two bedroom with a stone fireplace.

Bathroom

Bathrooms incorporate delicate fixtures, more beautiful and calming tile and tones, and oversized mirrors. All baths have a rain shower, robes, and slippers. Some rooms also have tubs and the Casablanca suites each have a garden tub for additional soaking.

Lobby

The focus here is the grotto-like atmosphere of the mineral springs at this adult's only spa retreat, so get checked in and get immediately out to the pools.

Pool

The relaxing pools are filled with mineral waters long touted for their healing properties; no additives of any kind are added. Multiple pools and tubs are spread across the grounds, include three with water temperature that can be controlled and adjusted for comfort.

Spa

The spa, a popular destination since the 1940s, provides standard massage and body care, facials, mud and water therapy treatments, and even wellness and coaching sessions with shamans. Services can also be booked at outdoor treatment gazebos.

Dining

The restaurant and bar, Essense, offers a swanky set up with locally sourced menu items, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. There’s also a juice bar on the property, serving up Two Bunch Palms’ own custom blends for optimum health.

Drinking

The bar at Essense is open until 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. on weeknights.

What's Nearby

Getting Around

A car is definitely required if you’re planning to go anywhere off property. If the plan is to soak and spa your worries away, then go for it!

Restaurants

The menu at Essense is quality, but there are options for Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, and Thai on the nearby Desert Hot Springs main drag (5- to 6-minute drive). The restaurants in downtown Palm Springs are about 20 minutes away.

Bars

Desert Hot Springs isn’t known for its bar scene, though there is one fun roadhouse, Dillon's Burgers & Beers (10-minute). For hip haunts, your best bet is to head over to downtown Palm Springs and check out Workshop Kitchen & Bar (21-minute drive) or High Bar (24-minute drive), on the rooftop of the Rowan Hotel.
