Burmese food is hard to find in Los Angeles so it’s a good thing that tucked away in a Silver Lake strip mall sits the unassuming Daw Yee Myanmar Corner, a restaurant that’s as good as it is rare. The food is an explosion of flavors and textures (there's a lot of roasted peanuts and toasted sesame). Several vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.
